It is in the death flow 8:41 AM Friday morning here in Holland MI. There is no way of escape so I am writing to keep myself awake. This morning I once again volunteer at the local library used books store The Book Nook. I have been volunteering at the Book Nook for 10 years. I volunteer at the Book Nook because I love books. I also at the Book Nook I come across used books that I want to buy for our library. Books are my meat and potatoes. So I will leave for the Book Nook around 9:45 AM.

Carol and I both got up around 6:15 AM. Carol got up and immediately got her Bible out and started reading it. I made a fresh pot of coffee and then wrote in my paper diary. After writing in my paper diary and messed with our main computer (it feels weird writing on our new computer/new key board/new screen). After messing with our new computer I read from a commentary titled, 'Romans 1-8' Reformation Commentary On Scripture.

Carol left this morning to go grocery shopping. I have been reading, 'The Light Years' a memoir by Chris Rush.

Carol works the next three nights, so I will be alone the next couple of nights. We all have our own private demons.

Last night I mainly sat in my main study and read from these books till my bed time (Carol had gone to bed early)-

'French Exit' a novel by Patrick DeWitt

'Only Americans Burn In Hell' a satire by Jarett Kobek

'The Light Years' a memoir by Chris Rush

'White' essays by Bret Easton Ellis

I went to bed last night around 11 o'clock PM. I tossed and turned all night, so right now I feel like shit.

I do not know what else to report so I will close to prepare myself for the big send off. I am trapped.

"[1] Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
[2] (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
[3] Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
[4] And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead" Romans 1:1-4
02:47 pm - The Atomic Era
It is now in the death flow 2:34 PM Friday afternoon. I thought since I am sitting here in front of our new computer cataloging the used books I brought home from the Book Nook that I would list them. I need to list the used books here so when I mention them in a future video I can copy and paste the list at the bottom of my Booktube video. Dig?

At the library used books store The Book it was normal, not slow but not busy either. I mainly read the Book Nook the memoir 'The Light Years' by Chris Rush. I brought home these used items today-

'The Last Waltz' DVD "The Finest Of All Rock Movies!"

'Birdman' movie DVD

'The Ballad Of Dorothy Wordsworth: A Life' by Frances Wilson

Death In The Afternoon' Ernest Hemingway (his account of Spanish bullfighting)

Lapham's Quarterly Volume XII, Number 2 Spring 2019 Trade

'The Doomsday Machine: Confessions Of A Nuclear War Planner' memoir by Daniel Ellsberg

'The Age Of Radiance: The Epic Rise And Dramatic Fall Of The Atomic Era' by Craig Nelson

'China's Wings: War, Intrigue, Romance, And Adventure In The Middle Kingdom During The Golden Age Of Flight' by Gregory Crouch

When I got home from the Book Nook Caleb was leaving with Ollie, he came here for lunch. Caleb walks Ollie during his lunch break. I ate lunch and wrote in my paper diary when I got home. Carol went to bed to sleep, because she works tonight. Well I will close to make a fresh pot of coffee. There is no way of escape.
