a vision of God in darkness

It is 10:10 AM Sunday late morning. It is another nice cool sunny day here in west Michigan. There are no forest fires near us or approaching us.

I got up this morning around 6:33 AM. When I got up I found my wife sitting in the living room reading her Bible. I got a glass of ice water and walked over here to our main computer to see what had happened in the world during the night.

After messing with our main computer I made a pot of oatmeal for breakfast. After eating my oatmeal I wrote in my paper diary. Carol left for Covenant PCA. I have been reading this morning from a book titled, 'Seeing God: The Beatific Vision in Christian Tradition' by Hans Boersma.

Not much going on this morning. I did make a short video for Youtube this morning wherein I show me getting ready my 2018 August diary. I have been making videos almost every day since my two week suspension from Youtube, but not sure if I will download these videos in the future when my suspension is lifted. I can't keep making videos afraid I might break a rule and get deleted from Youtube for the rest of my existence.

Last night I read from the novel "Moonglow' by Chabon and watched television. Now it is a new week, the last days of July 2018. I am falling asleep so I will close to feel drained.

intellectual purification

It is 6:17 PM Sunday evening here in west Michigan. It has been another super quiet day for me. I spent the day writing in my diary and reading my books.

This evening I have been reading, 'Dissident Gardens' a novel by Jonathan Lethem. I have been reading this novel all afternoon. I did doze this afternoon for an hour, but mainly I have been wandering the house and reading 'Dissident Gardens'. When Carol got home from Covenant PCA it was around 1 o'clock PM. She took a nap this afternoon and got up around 4:30 PM. She went back to Covenant PCA this evening. When she gets back this evening we will watch on PBS Masterpiece. Carol goes back to work tomorrow night.

Tomorrow I once again volunteer at the local library used books store The Book Nook from 10 o'clock AM till 1 o'clock PM. I assume this new week will be a quiet one for me. I have no where I have to be and there is no wanting my attention. Life will go by like clock work for me unless something unknown befalls us in the following days.

I will close to read and wait it out. There is no way of escape.
