Time Line

Carol and I were married on May 19th 1979.

In 1986 I graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary and we moved to Houston Texas so I could do my ministerial internship.

We left Houston and moved to Holland Michigan in 1991. We have lived in this house from 1991 till April 2017, which means we have lived here going on 26 years.

"My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle" Job 7:6

"See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil" Eph. 5:15,16

"And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: The need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever" Rev. 22:1-5

she has greater experience within herself of the void of God

It is in the death flow 1:50 PM Sunday afternoon. It is another warm sunny Spring day here in West Michigan. A good day to sit outside and listen to birds sing in the treetops.

I got up this morning around 7 o'clock AM. I made a pot of coffee and a pot of oatmeal for breakfast. Carol got up soon after I did. I ate my oatmeal messing with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary. I read till Noontime "The Spiritual Canticle" by St. John of the Cross. So has gone my day. There is not much else to report.

I did make a video this morning for my BookTube channel and posted it.

Carol just left to go to a memorial service for someone she knew in High School who recently died.

I have no plans for the rest of the day. Right now I feel fat and sleepy.

I will read this afternoon from a book titled, "The Evangelicals: The Struggle To Shape America" by Frances Fitzgerald.
