having received the ultimate promise of eschatological perfection

It is 12:43 PM Tuesday afternoon in the death flow. It is a sunny here in West Michigan. A good day to go ice fishing.

I am tired as usual. I did not sleep soundly last night.

My wife and I did errands this morning and visited thrift stores. I found these used books at thrift stores this morning-

"The Friends of Freeland" a novel by Brad Leithauser

"In Paradise" a novel by Peter Matthiessen

"Portrait Of An Artist, As An Old Man" a novel by Joseph Heller

"The Cove" a novel by Ron Rash

"Einstein's Dreams" a novel by Alan Lightman

There is not much else to report. I got a call from the lady who runs the library used books store asking if I could cover for her at the book nook today from 2 o'clock PM till 4 o'clock PM. I said Sure so I will be doing that this afternoon. I will take with me to read the novel "Serena" by Ron Rash.

Carol works the next two nights so when I get home this afternoon she should be sleeping.

I am falling asleep as I type these words so I will close.

"[1] Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
[2] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:1,2

Scripture teaches that God makes himself known to us analogically

It is in the divine flow 8:38 PM Tuesday night. It is a hot night here by Lake Michigan. A good night for a moon light swim in Lake Michigan.

I received a call from the lady who runs the library used books store asking me if I would cover for her from 2 PM till 4 PM this afternoon. I said Sure so I volunteered at the library book nook this afternoon. The book nook was not super busy so I was able to read some more of the novel "Serena" by Ron Rash. My present plan is to read only this novel and after finishing it share my thoughts about it in a BookTube video. I need to not read twenty books at a time, but try to read just one secular book at a time. I might discuss the novel "Serena" in several videos since there are many ways to discuss a secular novel. For my free book for volunteering I brought home a biography titled, "Ayn Rand And The World She Made" by Anne C. Heller. I will add this book to my Ayn Rand Collection. I have never read Ayn Rand personally. When I was in High School I remember people reading Ayn Rand's books.

When I got home this afternoon Carol was sleeping. She went to work tonight around 7:55 PM. This evening around 6:05 PM we had over for Christian fellowship a young Christian family who are members of Carol's church. Carol had bought the young fellow/husband/father some Christian books to help him in his preparation for the Gospel ministry. I showed the fellow my book collection. I also gave him some books like the writings of the 17th century English Puritan Divine/minister John Owen. The fellow told me he loved the writings of John Owen!

I am sweating like a pig so I will close to drift.

Tomorrow is a Wednesday. I have no plans for tomorrow or even the next day. I am waiting for the End.

"[6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
[7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." Rev. 1:6,7
