Guy Debord and the situationists

It is in the death flow 12:53 PM Sunday afternoon. I am going through this day at a slow pace. It is a sunny cloudy day. I have done nothing exciting today. It is Mother's Day. I can't remember as a child ever giving my mother anything for Mother's Day. My mother died in a car wreck when she was 36 years old. When my mother cease to be I was 16 years old. I never knew my birth father. My mother was married two times. I once figured out that my mother's marriages lasted maybe two to three years each. So I never celebrated Mother's Day or Father's Day as a boy. Our children sent their mother flowers, a plant and a coffee mug for Mother's Day. Our three children love their mother. I have come across people who hate their mother's and father's, That is sad to realize. A strong family is a divine blessing in this world where marriage is scorn and family values are kicked in the gut.

I got up around 6:13 AM this morning. I got up and had a typical morning. There is nothing new to report this afternoon.

Carol is sleeping and is off tonight from work. She plans to get up this evening and go to church.

I have been rereading today the book, "American Smoke" by Iain Sinclair.

Well, I suppose I will close to drift through the rest of this day. There is no way out.

"[1] Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
[2] Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
[3] That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
[4] And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
[5] Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
[6] Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
[7] With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
[8] Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
[9] And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him" Ephesians 6:1-9
