true theology

It is in the flow 9:48 AM Thursday morning. A cold dark gray rainy morning here by Lake Michigan. Our main computer died this morning so I am writing on my lap top computer. It is always a bummer when a main computer dies because that means this coming Monday we will have to buy another one. Computers are a necessity for me. Computers keep me attached to the outside world/life line.

Carol left this morning to drive to Grand Rapids to pick up Josie Joy and bring her here.

I got up this morning around 6:33 AM. I got up and made a pot of coffee. When Carol got up I made for us a pot of oatmeal for breakfast.

After breakfast I wrote in my paper diary and have been reading, "Open City" a novel by Tejo Cole. I started reading this novel last night.

I have no plans for the day ahead. I suppose I will close to drift.

the Word made flesh

It is now in the life flow 8:01 PM Thursday night Eastern Standard Time. We put Josie Joy down for the night. She cried herself to sleep. I am sure she misses her own bed and her Mom and Dad. I faintly remember how it felt as a small boy to be left with people who were not my parents. Well I never really had parents. I just remember feeling abandoned.

It has been a long day and I plan to go to bed early. I slept poorly last night and hope I sleep better tonight. I always sleep poorly when Carol is off from work. I am a light sleeper and when I sleep with my wife I tend to wake up a lot during the night. I am sure I will be a physical wreck by next week due to lack of sleep. I can't take naps because we are having a new bathroom built down in the lower level.

Today I received in the mail a book I had ordered titled, ""Literchoor Is My Beat" A Life Of James Laughlin, Publisher Of New Directions" biography by Ian S. MacNiven.

I have been reading so many books lately that I have lost count. I need to focus on just a couple of books and not twenty. All the words in these books appear to me in my inner eye as a long river of words. All words are One vast stream going into infinity.

I read today this book mainly, "A Treatise On True Theology With The Life Of Franciscus Junius" Translated By David C. Noe. I finished reading today the life of Franciscus Junius (1530-1595). I looked at my new book on the life of James Laughin and read some of the book "Open City" a novel by Teju Cole.

Well, I am wasted so I will close to wait to go to bed. There is no way of escape.
