He will reveal his glory

It is now in the flow of divine providence 9:55 AM Monday morning Eastern Standard Time. Outside this morning it is 31 degrees and wet gray. It is ugly weather this morning. It usually stays this way till the middle of May here in West Michigan. Spring time is cold and gray by Lake Michigan typically.

I got up this morning around 6:54 AM. I got up because it was the right thing to do considering all my options. I got up made a pot of coffee and messed with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and read from a book titled, "The Presence Of God: Its Place In The Storyline Of Scripture And The Story Of Our Lives" by J. Ryan Lister. Carol got up around 8:40 AM and I made us oatmeal for breakfast. So has gone by our simple Christian life in the American Empire.

I have no plans for the day ahead of me. I might visit local thrift stores this morning. This afternoon a plumber is stopping by to give us an estimate on installing a new shower down here in the lower level. Our present shower system needs replacement and now is the time. When Rudy goes to heaven we are going to get new carpet and new kitchen cabinets. We also want to fix up our fireplace in the future. We want to get our tomb in good order as we get older and older.

Yesterday I basically read all day and wrote in my diary. I read mainly yesterday the book "Introducing Bible Hermeneutics: A Comprehensive Framework for Hearing God In Scripture" by Craig G. Bartholomew.

Today we are getting in the mail a back-up hard drive so as to download all our photos into for safe storage/keeping. Carol wants to dump into this new hard drive her cellphone photos and movies.

I suppose I will close to face what comes next down the trail.

"[22] Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
[23] And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
[24] For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
[25] Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
[26] A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
[27] And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
[28] And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
[29] I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
[30] And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
[31] Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
[32] Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
[33] Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
[34] And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
[35] And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
[36] Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
[37] Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
[38] As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD." Ezekiel 36:22-38

It is now in the snow storm flow 4 o'clock PM Monday late afternoon. Outside there is a snow storm blowing. It is dangerous weather here in West Michigan. I am afraid to confess many people will die today in ice covered roads.

This morning I left the house for the post office and to visit local thrift stores. I found these used books this morning while wandering the Wasteland-

"The Big Snow" a novel by David Park

"On The Golden Porch" a novel by Tatyana Tolstaya (Translated by Antonina W. Bouis)

"Through Black Spruce" a novel by Joseph Boyden

"Dusk And Other Stories" by James Salter

"Mr. Midshipman Hornblower" by C. S. Forester

"Lieutenant Hornblower" by C. S. Forester

"Hornblower and the "Hotspur"" by C. S. Forester

"Hornblower During the Crisis" by C. S. Forester

"Hornblower and the Atropos" by C. S. Forester

"The Happy Return" by C. S. Forester

"A Ship of the Line" by C. S. Forester

"Flying Colours" by C. S. Forester

"The Commodore" by C. S. Forester

"Lord Hornblower" by C. S. Forester

"Hornblower in the West Indies" by C. S. Forester

"Kissinger" a biography by Walter Isaacson

I got hungry while at a local Goodwin so I came home for lunch before going to visit another local thrift store. When I got home Carol suggested we go out for lunch so we did that. We had a nice lunch and then visited Salvation Army thrift store where I found these used books-

"Colter" a dog story by Rick Bass

"The Sleepwalkers" a trilogy by Herman Broch

So the day has gone by. Carol went to work for a couple of hours. I am watching birds and recovering from a big lunch meal. Existence keeps decaying. I feel like passing out, but maybe later.

"[15] For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
[16] For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
[17] They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
[18] For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
[19] And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
[20] And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
[21] And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
[22] For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
[23] And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
[24] And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh." Isaiah 66:15-24
