It is 2:02 PM Saturday afternoon in the flow of reality. A cold cloudy day here by Lake Michigan.

subverting the prevailing aesthetic of a radical scene

It is in the flow of reality 3:36 PM Saturday afternoon. I am not in the mood to watch college football this afternoon. I am in one of those states of consciousness where I want to just watch the clouds go by inside my head.

I had a normal time at the Herrick District Public Library used books store. The store was not busy and it was not quiet. While at the book nook I mainly read one of the used books I bought this morning at the AAUW Used Books Sale titled, "The Highest State Of Consciousness" Edited by John White. I am into higher states of consciousness. I want the consciousness of Christ. I remember these words of the apostle Paul, "For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ" 1 Corinth. 2:16.

Also while at the library used books store I started reading an article in the September 28, 2015 issue of The New Yorker on the musician Grimes.

I got up this morning around 6:25 AM. I slept better last night then I had all week. I have been taking pain pills for my sore right leg. I got these pain pills when I was going through my gallbladder ordeal awhile back. While at the book nook my daughter-in-law Emily stopped by with Josie Joy to pick up the baby clothes Carol had bought this week for Josie. Emily told me my leg pain should go away in two weeks. Carol and I are going over to Grand Rapids next week Monday to visit our oldest son Caleb, his wife Emily and baby Josie to celebrate Josie's one year old birthday (Carol was away when Josie turned one year old so we are having a late birthday celebration.). Little Josie had a cold and was very tired so she would not come to her Papa. Emily was in Holland to have a friend of Carol's take one year old photos of Josie (a birthday present from Nonie).

Last night I do not remember much about right now. I do remember looking at the used books I bought yesterday and messing with our main computer till I got sleepy. The last book I looked at last night was one I bought that day titled, "Exiled in Paris: Richard Wright, James Baldwin, Samuel Beckett, and Others on the Left Bank" literary biography by James Campbell.

I also made last night another video for YouTube on book collecting. I plan to make another video soon about book collecting and being a Christian bookworm.

Well I suppose I will close to read some more of the novel, "The Mighty Walzer" by Howard Jacobson. Existence keeps speeding by!
