Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

Psalm 73

[1] Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
[2] But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
[3] For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
[4] For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
[5] They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
[6] Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
[7] Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
[8] They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
[9] They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
[10] Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
[11] And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
[12] Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
[13] Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
[14] For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
[15] If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
[16] When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
[17] Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
[18] Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
[19] How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
[20] As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
[21] Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
[22] So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
[23] Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
[24] Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
[25] Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
[26] My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
[27] For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
[28] But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

Whom I In Heaven

Whom have I in Heav’n above? Only Thee, my Savior;
Whom have I on earth to love? Only Thee, my Savior;
Who my wounded heart can heal, who my every sorrow feel,
Who the light of joy reveal? Only Thee, my Savior.

Who has led me all my days? Only Thou, my Savior;
Who deserves my highest praise? Only Thou, my Savior;
In my weakness who is strong, who has loved and loved me long,
Who should claim my noblest song? Only Thou, my Savior.

Who my inmost thoughts can read? Only Thou, my Savior;
Who for me doth intercede? Only Thou, my Savior;
Who my secret thoughts can know, who such tender mercy show,
Who can make me white as snow? Only Thou, my Savior.

"Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You." Ps. 73:25

He gave His life for His enemies

It is in the flow of my existence 10:12 AM Thursday morning. I can see the sun this morning. I am thankful I did not wake up to a cold rainy dark morning. It is a blessing to dwell in the Light.

I got up this morning around 6;15 AM. I made oatmeal for breakfast and warmed up the coffee I made last night for my wife. My wife is a coffee drinker. I have been drinking coffee maybe the last seven years. For many years I drank soda pop and tea. Now I mainly drink water and coffee. I have cut out of my diet many sugar products. It is sad to know a lot of the food we eat has been processed with sugar ingredients. Who these days in America eats pure food? I am seeking these days to eat basic food and not any junk food. I have always found eating food boring.

I have had a normal morning thus far. I do not plan to go anywhere today. Since the weather is nice today I should mow our lawn. We have an average lawn front and back.

This morning I have been mainly reading, “The School Of Jesus Christ” by Pere Jean Nicolas. I wrote in my paper diary this morning. I am always writing in my paper diary. I wonder how long I will be able to write. Maybe I will die with a pen in my hand. Maybe the Lord will grant me grace to write down my last words.

Carol got home from work around 8:50 AM and has gone to bed for the day. She is off the next three nights. Existence keeps zooming by!

Yesterday I mainly read, “Lovers At The Chameleon Club, Paris 1932″ a novel by Francine Prose.

Last night I watched television and went to bed around 11 o’clock PM. Now it is another day. We are coming to the middle of the month. It will soon be June 2015. On the 30th of May our daughter Beth will be visiting us along with her husband Andy and our granddaughter Louisa Mae, who is now a year old. It should be a nice time visiting with Andy, Beth and Lou again.

Well, I suppose I will close to drift.

Answer for question 4366.

If there were no rules in life, and you could be as outrageous as you wanted to be, what would you do?
Outrageous "abominable, atrocious, base, brutal, crazy, debauching, despicable, dreadful, excessive, exorbitant, extreme, flagrant, gross, heinous, horrible, horrid, obscene, shocking, ungodly, unreasonable, unspeakable, vile, wicked" those words describe how people around me are living right now. People right now are living live with no rules or code of ethics. I want to live a godly life out of love for the Lord Jesus Christ. I do not want to offend a holy God by being outrageous/ungodly.

Ascension Day

It is 6:49 PM Thursday evening in the flow of salvation history. My wife just left to attend at her church the Ascension Day evening worship service. This is the day the people of God celebrate the day the Lord Jesus Christ ascended into heaven to be seated on His Mediatory throne."Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne" Acts 2:30.

I did get around to mowing our lawn this afternoon. I had a quiet day. Tomorrow is a Friday. This coming Sunday is Pentecost Sunday.

Well I will close to wait for the Lord Jesus Christ to come again.

"[1] This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
[2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
[3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
[4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
[5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
[6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
[7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
[8] Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
[9] But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
[10] But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience" Second Timothy 3:1-10

Hail The Day That Sees Him Arise

Hail the day that sees Him rise, Alleluia!
To His throne above the skies, Alleluia!
Christ, awhile to mortals given, Alleluia!
Reascends His native heaven, Alleluia!

There the glorious triumph waits, Alleluia!
Lift your heads, eternal gates, Alleluia!
Christ hath conquered death and sin, Alleluia!
Take the King of glory in, Alleluia!

Circled round with angel powers, Alleluia!
Their triumphant Lord, and ours, Alleluia!
Conqueror over death and sin, Alleluia!
Take the King of glory in! Alleluia!

Him though highest Heav’n receives, Alleluia!
Still He loves the earth He leaves, Alleluia!
Though returning to His throne, Alleluia!
Still He calls mankind His own, Alleluia!

See! He lifts His hands above, Alleluia!
See! He shows the prints of love, Alleluia!
Hark! His gracious lips bestow, Alleluia!
Blessings on His church below, Alleluia!

Still for us His death He pleads, Alleluia!
Prevalent He intercedes, Alleluia!
Near Himself prepares our place, Alleluia!
Harbinger of human race, Alleluia!

Master, (will we ever say), Alleluia!
Taken from our head to day, Alleluia!
See Thy faithful servants, see, Alleluia!
Ever gazing up to Thee, Alleluia!

Grant, though parted from our sight, Alleluia!
Far above yon azure height, Alleluia!
Grant our hearts may thither rise, Alleluia!
Seeking Thee beyond the skies, Alleluia!

Ever upward let us move, Alleluia!
Wafted on the wings of love, Alleluia!
Looking when our Lord shall come, Alleluia!
Longing, gasping after home, Alleluia!

There we shall with Thee remain, Alleluia!
Partners of Thy endless reign, Alleluia!
There Thy face unclouded see, Alleluia!
Find our heaven of heavens in Thee, Alleluia!
