she can by rapture be granted the beatific vision

It is 9:49 AM Sunday morning in the flow of divine providence. This morning here by Lake Michigan it is wet and gray. During the night it rained so everything is drenched this morning. Beth, Andy and Louisa leave this afternoon for Grand Rapids Mich.. Andy's family lives in Grand Rapids and they are going to visit them before leaving for Arizona this coming Friday.

Carol and I got up this morning around 6 o'clock AM. Right now I feel like a train wreck. I hardly slept last night. The rain storm and the humid weather kept me awake most of the night. I plan to spend the week ahead resting from life.

I have not read anything this morning or written in my paper diary. I have been making sure everyone has been fed this morning. Next I will clean the kitchen next.

Last night I read my books and went to bed early. The last book I read last night was, "Lost in the Forest" a novel by Sue Miller. I do remember reading also yesterday, "Alternating Current" by Octavio Paz.

Well I will close to clean and wait for the Rapture.

"13] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
[14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words." First Thess. 4:13-18

whoever believes is not condemned

It is now in the Flow 11:20 AM late Sunday morning. I cleaned the kitchen and then I wrote in my paper diary. I should be coming to page 700 in my paper diary soon. I usually write around 1000 pages a year in my paper diary. It is amazing how I can write pages about nothing! One could write pages though about the goodness of God shown to us. So the morning keeps decaying. Louisa is still sleeping so Beth and Andy have not left for Grand Rapids yet. They are packed and ready to go when Lou is up from her morning nap. I am once again down here in the lower level of our home writing on my old lap top. Our main computer is still broken. I am thinking of buying a new computer soon. I will wait and see what Carol decides about our main computer. I have my old lap top computer and my new lap top computer I can use if worse comes to worse.

Yesterday while I was volunteering at the Herrick Public Library used books store one of the two books I read was titled, "John 1-12" New Testament IV [Reformation Commentary On Scripture] Edited By Craig S. Farmer. I have been reading in this commentary on the Gospel of John the comments on John 3:1-21. I found these comments on John 3:18 a blessing "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" John 3:18.

"3:18 Whoever Believes Is Not Condemned

Johannes Brenz: This is the sum of all preaching: Those who believe in Christ are not condemned. Nothing saves but faith. Works do not save, and merits do not save. Nothing condemns but lack of faith. This indeed is the glory of the gospel, that sins do not condemn, but disbelief alone is that which brings condemnation. Moreover, when it is said that works do not save, you are not to think that good actions are not to be performed. And when it is said that sins do not condemn, you are not to think that you are now permitted to sin with impunity. For faith saves because it welcomes all good things from Christ and works all good things in the believer. As it welcomes righteousness from Christ so it dispenses that righteousness in turn through works of love. Disbelief, however, condemns because it rejects and condemns all the good things of Christ and is the author of all evils. For as it welcomes every unrighteous thing from Satan, who is falsehood, so it pours out every evil against God and against human beings. It does nothing uprightly, it always sins, always violates the law of God. So the statement is most just: "Whoever does not believe is condemned already." Why? "Because that person has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God." What is that name? the name of Christ is God, the righteous, king, the good, salvation, life, light, redemption. Therefore whoever believes in the name of Christ receives through faith God, righteousness, kingship, goodness, salvation, life, light and redemption. Commentary On John 3:18." pg. 106

a vision of immediate reality

It is 6:43 PM Sunday night. Beth, Andy and Lou left for GR this afternoon. We meaning Carol and I might meet up with them this week in GR to do something with Andy's Mom. Nothing is for sure. It all depends on the weather. We will see Beth Thursday night. Beth takes a train home Friday morning. Andy is flying back to their home with Louisa.

I had a quiet afternoon. I laid down for an hour down in the lower level. I have been reading my books and wandering the house. Our main computer is still not working even after Andy messed with it. I think the problem is At & T service line and not our computer. My downstairs lap tops are not acting the same meaning not able to connect to the internet. It is like the computer wants to connect but there is blockage or not a clean internet wire line to the Internet World. I am wishing Now we never got AT&T service meaning computer and television wireless bundle package. It is all depressing.

Never get AT&T bundle package is my advice. A big pain in the butt.

So here I sit talking to myself. Carol went to Covenant PCA tonight.

I have been reading this evening "Alternating Current" by Octavio Paz.

Well do not know what else to report. Existence keeps speeding by. No way of escape.
