It is 1:36 PM Thursday afternoon. Today I helped set up for the Friends of the Library used books sale happening this coming Saturday.

I left this morning around 8:50 AM and got home around 1:10 PM. I am beat! When I got home I noticed our neighbor across street chopped down my favorite tree. For years I have looked at this majestic pine tree and now it is gone. All I see now across the street is an empty gap between two houses. That tree was beautiful! Why do people hate trees so much! Men hate Nature is all I can come up with.

I brought home today from the library book nook these two used books to add to our library.

Well I will close to mourn for a dead pine tree.

Our neighbor across the street killed a giant pine tree today. Carol and I are in a state of mourning for that beautiful tree. This afternoon I wanted go across the tree and pray for healing for this old giant pine tree. I thought about doing some kind healing ritual to show my love for this giant pine tree. What was sad is that I saw our neighbor have a friend of her's take a picture of her in a pose of victory over the tree. I personally see no victory in killing a tree.

A huge truck with a crane came by and lifted the pine tree logs on to its flat bed and hauled them away.

I would guess that old pine tree was over 50 years old if not older.
