the revelation of the life that is hidden in Christ

It is 10:01 AM Thursday morning in the flow. Nothing ever stops in Reality. Everything is in the motion of decay. Nothing remains forever except the soul of man (woman).

I got up this morning around 7:10 AM. I got up and made a pot of coffee. When I get up in the mornings I look outside to see what the weather is like. I am glad Winter is over and that we are in Spring time. I like the seasons of Spring, Summer and Autumn here in Michigan.

After making coffee I messed with our main computer and then cooked myself breakfast. After I ate breakfast I wrote in my paper diary. Carol got home from work around 8:55 AM and has gone to bed. She is now off three nights from work.

I might leave the house this morning to visit thrift stores. Right now I feel sleepy.

Last night I watched television and went to bed around 11 o'clock PM. Yesterday I read basically all day a book titled, "Bookstore: The Life and Times of Jeannette Watson and Books & Co." by Lynne Tillman. Do not know what to read today. I should get back in the Acts of the Apostles (NT).

Well I suppose I will close to fed the birds and put fresh water in the bird bath. Existence keeps zooming by. No way out.

"[27] And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
[28] So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9:27,28

Windmill Island Gardens

This morning Rudy and I took a walk at Windmill Island Gardens. I did not see in tulips blooming during our walk around the island. I did see plants spouting out of the earth at Windmill Island. I noticed a lot of people preparing Windmill Island for tourist season. I consider Windmill Island a tourist trap. Because my wife and I live in Holland and pay taxes we get in free except during Tulip Festival time, which is in two weeks.

the conquest of Peru

It is 2:20 PM Thursday afternoon. After I walked Rudy at Windmill Island Gardens I visited a couple of thrift stores and found these used books to ADD to our library.

"Middlesex" a novel by Jeffrey Eugenides

"Flight Behavior" a novel by Barbara Kingsolver

"The Spirit Catches You And You Fall Down" A Hmong Child, Her American Doctors, And The Collision Of Two Cultures by Anne Fadiman

"A Patchwork Planet" a novel by Anne Tyler

"The Midwife: A Memoir Of Birth, Joy, And Hard Times" by Jennifer Worth

"The Conquest Of Mexico And the Conquest Of Peru" by William H. Prescott

After visiting thrift stores I drove home because I was feeling weak from hunger. When I got home I ate lunch and down loaded the pictures I took on my walk this morning. Next I cataloged the used books I bought this morning into my LibraryThing site. So has gone by existence. I will close to drift through the rest of the day.

growing disillusionment with Heidegerrian Existentialism

It is 7:33 PM Thursday evening. I had a normal day. I am trying to remember what I did today. I already mentioned that I took our dog Rudy for a walk at Windmill Island Gardens and then visited thrift stores to look for used books to add to our book collection.

I read this afternoon "Acts: An Exegetical Commentary: Introduction And 1:1-2:47" Volume 1 by Craig S. Keener. As I was reading this commentary Carol got up. When she got up it was only 3 o'clock PM. She only slept four hours today after being up all night (my wife is a night nurse). Carol left this evening for a Woman's Bible Study on the Gospel of John.

This evening I cooked some food to eat for dinner. Time has gone by normal.

Tomorrow I once again cover for someone at the Herrick Public Library used bookstore from 10 AM till 1 PM.

This evening I have been listening to music and looking for a CD by the Animal Collective in my music collection. Not much else to report. I plan to go to bed early.

Well I will close to wait it out. I am not going anywhere.
