grew appalled at what he saw as the excessive militarization of U.S. policy

It is 9:20 AM Friday morning in the ice flow. It is 0 degrees this morning. When I got up this morning it was minus 4 degrees. The sun is shining this morning on our ice world. Reality is frozen. Space is frozen.

I got up this morning around 6:55 AM. My wife was already up sitting in our dining room collecting stuff to take to her Tax Man appointment this morning. It is that time of year to file one taxes. Carol is right now at our Tax Man getting our taxes done.

I have had thus far a normal morning.

I have no plans for the day. I have already wrote in my paper diary and fed our birds. I already cooked myself breakfast and cleaned the kitchen. I got out these books to read for morning devotions-

"John Ruusbroec The Spiritual Espousals And Other Works" [The Classics of Western Spirituality]

"From Creation to New Creation: Biblical Theology and Exegesis" Essays In Honor Of G. K. Beale Editors Daniel M. Gurtner & Benjamin L. Gladd

"Prepared By Grace, For Grace: The Puritans on God's Ordinary Way of Leading Sinners to Christ" by Joel R. Beeke & Paul M. Smalley

Last night I watched television with my wife and read my books. I went to bed around 11 o'clock PM and got woke up when my wife came to bed around 11:30 PM.

music Tim Hecker "Ravedeath 1972"

Well I suppose I will close to drift through the day. No way of escape.

It is 1:48 PM Friday afternoon. I am not in the mood to spill my guts this afternoon. Well I am always pouring out my heart to strangers. I am just another weeping prophet. Anyway Carol and I went grocery shopping and then out for lunch. On the way home we stopped at a local thrift store so I could check out their used books. I found these used books to ADD to our library.

"How To Read A Book" The Classic Guide to Intelligent Reading by Mortimer J. Adler & Charles Van Doren

"Laments For The Living" Short Stories by Dorothy Parker

"Boyhood: A Memoir" by J. M. Coetzee

"The Dancer Upstairs" a novel by Nicholas Shakespeare (I have this book in my library by Shakespeare, "Bruce Chatwin: A Biography".)

"Desert Places" A woman's odyssey with the wanderers of the Indian desert by Robyn Davidson

"Pigeon Feathers and other stories" by John Updike

Well I would love to sit down and chat for awhile but I am weary as the wind.
