Cooper's Hawk

This morning our neighborhood Cooper's Hawk came by our place for a visit. The hawk came by looking for a meal.

outside of space is nothing

It is 10:17 AM Wednesday morning in the Arctic blast. I just posted some pictures of our neighborhood Cooper's Hawk. I enjoy watching birds as I drift slowly through the day. Bird watching is natural. Carol has gone to bed for the day so it is now super quiet. All I can hear is my inner voice. The voice in the middle of my soul. Lately I have found space to mysterious. What is space? All around me or us is space. Is space made of materials like atoms? Is space clear energy? Are we existing in energy space? Space is filled with life. Outside of space is nothing. Is space pure nothingness? How can something be nothing? It is mysterious to me.

I got up this morning around 6:55 AM. I got up made a pot of coffee and messed with our main computer. This morning on YouTube I watched a short documentary on the music artist Sparklehorse or Mark Linkous. Linkous killed himself in 2010. I like the music of Sparklehorse. It is sad such a fine singer songwriter killed himself.

I picked up Carol from work around 9:10 AM this morning. It is 8 degrees outside this morning.

I have no plans for the day. I will go through this day in silence. No place to go and nothing to do important. Existence keeps speeding by. In space there is no speeding or motion visible to the naked eye.

Last night I watched television and read the memoir "Country Girl" by the Irish writer Edna O'Brien. I got out these books to read this morning for devotions.

"John Ruusbroec The Spiritual Espousals And Other Works" [The Classics Of Western Spirituality]

"A New Testament Biblical Theology: The Unfolding Of The Old Testament In The New" by G. K. Beale

"Paul And The Faithfulness Of God" Two Volumes by N. T. Wright

"Prepared By Grace, For Grace: The Puritans on God's Ordinary Way of Leading Sinners to Christ" by Joel R. Beeke & Paul M. Smalley

"From Creation to New Creation: Biblical Theology & Exegesis" Essays In Honor Of G. K. Beale Editors Daniel M. Gurtner & Benjamin L. Gladd

Well I will close for now. It will soon be the end of February 2014.

more pictures of our Cooper's Hawk

I got up from our dining room table to get a cup of coffee and I looked out our kitchen window over looking our bird feeder I saw our Cooper's Hawk right across from me perched in a bush. I got my camera and took some more pictures of this beautiful bird.
