rabbit

This morning Carol spotted one of our rabbits by our bird feeder. Usually the rabbits come at night and eat the corn left on the ground by the birds. The rabbits also eat the husk of the sunflower seeds we fed our birds.

It is 11:06 AM late Sunday morning in the ice flow. Michigan rivers are frozen and when they start to melt we have ice jams which result in flooding. The rivers go over their banks and filled up neighborhoods. Some people like living by rivers only to have their homes washed away by flooding.

I laid down this morning from 9 o'clock AM till 10:45 AM. When I arose from my bed I found the house quiet and filled with sunlight. My wife went to church this morning. She should be home soon from Sunday worship. I laid down this morning and slept because weird intense dreams drove me out of bed this morning around 5:30 AM. I got up this morning way too early. Old men like me need to get up not so early. I usually get up in the morning knowing I can always go back to bed.

I got up this morning when it was still black outside. When I went outside to look for any Sunday morning newspapers I could see the moon through trees. It was a ghostly sight seeing the moon through night mist.

So it is the last Sunday of February 2014. Next Sunday will be March 2, 2014.

I have done the usual things this morning. I am still tired, but that is normal.

Last night I watched television with my wife and went to bed early. I mainly read last night from a book titled, "A New Testament Biblical Theology: The Unfolding of The Old Testament In The New" by G. K. Beale.

Well I am out of words so I will close to wait it out. Existence keeps speeding by! No way out.

"[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
[24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
[26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
[27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
[28] And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
[29] For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes." Matthew 7:21-29

Windmill Island Gardens

When Carol got home this afternoon from having lunch with a friend she wanted to go for a walk at Windmill Island. So we drive over to Windmill Island but the road around the island was too icy for Carol to walk on so we turned around. I walked by myself for a ways, but went back to make sure Carol got back to our car without slipping on the ice. My wife has no sense of balance.

Kollen Park Lake Macatawa

After we visited Windmill Island we drove over to Kollen Park to look at Lake Macatawa. There was no where to walk at Kollen Park so we took some pictures and then we drove home.
