It is 10:28 AM Wednesday morning in the flow of winter. The sun is shining this morning. Ice is melting off our roof. I wonder if the roof people are coming today to shovel snow off our roof.
So here I sit trying to not fall back to sleep. I have been listening to the music of Beck this morning. Beck has a new record out that I ordered last night from Amazon.
I got up this morning around 7 o'clock AM. I did not want to get up, but at the same time I did not want to lay in bed either. So I got up made a pot of coffee and messed with our main computer.
Carol called around 8:30 AM to be picked up. When we got home I cooked myself breakfast. Carol went to bed. The morning slowly goes by.
Last night I read my books and went to bed my usual time. I have nothing to do today. Well, I suppose I will close to drift. I need to go to the Credit Union and get some cash. After I get some money I might drive over to a local thrift store to look at their used books.
It is 1:05 PM Wednesday afternoon. I did leave the house this morning. While out I stopped at a near by thrift store to look at their used books. I found these used books this morning to ADD to our book collection.

The day goes by normal. The sun is still shining. The roofing people never showed up to clear our roof of snow and ice this afternoon. I hope our roof does not cave in or start to leak.
I wanted to mentioned that this afternoon I received two books in the mail, "From Creation to New Creation: Biblical Theology and Exegesis" Essays In Honor Of G. K. Beale Edited By Daniel M. Gurtner & Benjamin L. Gladd and "Prepared By Grace For Grace: The Puritans on God's Ordinary Way of Leading Sinners to Christ" by Joel R. Beeke & Paul M. Smalley.
It is interesting to compare the Christian Spirituality found in "The Spiritual Espousals" by John Ruusbroec with the book "Prepared By Grace, For Grace" by Joel R. Beeke & Paul M. Smalley.
There are so many different ways to live the Christian life in this world. There are so many different theological systems in the Christian Church. I personally go by the plain teachings of the Bible when it comes to how one is to live a Christian life in this United States of America.
Is there one timeless pattern of biblical spirituality set forth in the Bible for all the elect to follow if they are to be in the New Creation?
Well I suppose I will close to wander the house. I am tired, but that is normal.
" Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:1-6
