fiction is a gradually evolving effort to be more accurate about life

It is 1:05 PM Tuesday afternoon in the flow of existence on a frozen planet. Everything is moving inside a giant block of ice. Life inside a hard cold block of ice is how I feel these days. I am trapped inside a giant ice prison.

So the river of ice flows by today. I got up this morning around 7:30 AM. My wife had gotten up this morning at 4:30 AM.

I got a cup of coffee and messed with our main computer. I then went down in the lower level and laid in the dark for awhile. We left the house this morning around 10:50 AM to get bird food and go out for lunch to celebrate Carol's birthday (which is tomorrow). We were home from these activities around 12:15 PM. I met Carol when she was 26 years old, now she will be 61 years old.

Carol has gone to bed for the day, because she works tonight. I am feeling sick this afternoon. I do not feel right these days. Maybe I am dying slowly. I could make a doctor's appointment to have myself checked over, but why?

Yesterday I read all day and watched television during the evening hours.

Well since I feel sick I will close to suffer silently.

I have been carrying around to read today a book titled, "The Lost Scrapbook" a novel by Evan Dara.

seeking through solitude and prayer the hidden God

It is 3:26 PM Tuesday afternoon. I left the house for a few minutes to visit a nearby thrift store to see if they had new used book put out for the public to buy. I found these used books today to ADD to our Book Collection.

"A Fanatic Heart: Selected Stories Of Edna O'Brien" by Edna O'Brien (With A Foreword By Philip Roth) (Recently Edna O'Brien published her memoir, "Country Girl".)

review of the memoir "Country Girl" by Edna O'Brien

"Einstein: The Life and Times" biography by Ronald W. Clark (I have in my library Clark's biography "Freud: The Man And The Cause".)

"Radical Christian Communities" by Thomas P. Rausch, S.J.

"The Blind Assassin" a novel by Margaret Atwood (I already have this novel by Atwood, but I bought this copy to give away.)

"Bagombo Snuff Box: Uncollected Short Fiction" by Kurt Vonnegut (I collect the writings of Vonnegut.)

"Galapagos: World's End" by William Beebe (I am always looking for interesting books on Natural History. I am a part of Nature. I love the Natural World.)

"Turtle Moon" a novel by Alice Hoffman (I collect the writings of Alice Hoffman. I have two other novels by her, "The River King" and "Blackbird House".)

"Go East, Young Man: The Early Years" The Autobiography of William O. Douglas (I already have this autobiography in my library. The autobiography comes in volume 1 and volume 2. I bought this copy to give away.)

Well I will close to feel sick inside. Weird feeling this way for so long. I am being refined by fire.
