It is in the flow of divine providence 10:14 AM Friday morning. Outside the sun is shining and God is on His throne, so all is well in the city of Houston Texas.
Carol my wife just left to have coffee and catch-up with one of her cousins. I have been reading this morning 'The Decameron' by Giovanni Boccaccio Translated by Wayne A. Reborn.
I do not know if I will leave the house this morning to visit thrift stores in search of more used books to add to our library. To be honest there is no more room for any more books down in the lower level of our home. The lower level is filled to capacity with used and new books. Presently the lower level is bookworm's worse nightmare!
I got up this morning around 6:03 AM. I slept badly last night. I think most of the night I was not asleep just had my eyes closed lost in thought. Before I turned off my bedroom light last night I had read 'The Book of Disquiet' by Fernando Pessoa Translated from the Portuguese by Margaret Jull Costa.
Yesterday I read a great deal of the biography 'Isaiah Berlin: A Life' by Michael Ignatieff. I am enjoying immensely this biography on the life of Isaiah Berlin. In the mail yesterday I received a used book I had ordered titled, 'Hotels Of North America' a novel by Rick Moody.
So Time keeps floating by. I suppose I will close to figure out what to do next. Existence keeps speeding by like a stray bullet.
" And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry." Genesis 8:1-13
" And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Rev. 21:1-8
